PacWest Men's Soccer Season One for the Books

2025 saw Point Loma and Hawai`i Hilo win NCAA matches, three total, the most in conference history. See all the new records in the PacWest Record Book.

The 2025 men's soccer season in the Pacific West Conference was one for the ages.

Point Loma won the PacWest regular season and tournament titles, and then went on to win two NCAA tournament matches. Hawaii Hilo also won a NCAA Super Region 4 match, giving the conference three postseason wins--two more than than the PacWest has ever had in league history. Point Loma's loss came in overtime to Midwestern State TX, who would go on to win the NCAA Division II national championship.

Hilo's Koki Hamada became a four-time All-PacWest selection, joining a list featuring just 21 players in the history of the conference. Vanguard goalkeeper Aidan Hay won back-to-back Goalkeeper of the Year honors, just the fourth player in PacWest history to accomplish that.
