The 2026 Pacific West Conference men's soccer season is just a little over a month away.

All ten conference teams will begin practice in August and kick off their season the long weekend of Aug. 27-29 with non-conference clashes. That launches nearly a month of non-conference play before PacWest action begins on September 23, with Westmont visiting Vanguard and on the 24th when Chaminade travels to Point Loma. 

Ultimately, all ten squads are vying to qualify for the Pacific West Conference Championships, where the top four teams in the standings will head to San Rafael and the campus of Dominican University, November 5-7 to fight for the conference's NCAA automatic berth.

Last fall, Point Loma was the regular season champion and also won the PacWest tournament. They would go on to win two NCAA tournament games before falling to Midwestern State (Tex.) 3-2 in overtime in the quarterfinals. They will open 2026 on Aug. 27 against CSU San Bernardino.

Hawai`i Hilo also qualified for the NCAA tournament, winning their-ever postseason match against Western Oregon before falling to No. 1 seed Stanislaus State in the second round. The Vulcans will open play on Aug. 27 with a non-conference clash against rival Hawaii Pacific. 

Seven PacWest teams had winning records in conference play a year ago, making it one of the most competitive seasons in league history.
