PacWest Softball Record Book Has Rewrites

Conference newcomer Jessup's Giles and Ibarra, along with PacWest champ Biola's Nakano land numerous times on updated lists.

Pacific West Conference newcomer Jessup University finished tied for third in the conference standings in their inaugral season, and behind a couple of big bats made numerous entries into the conference record book.

Sarah Giles and Maddy Ybarra wrote their names on a number of single season top 10 lists. Giles had 17 home runs (third all-time) and 75 RBI (second), while Ybarra's 49 stolen bases was the most in the PacWest in the last 15 years.

PacWest champ Biola featured Kendall Nakano (16 home runs) and the Eagles posted the best fielding percentage in PacWest history at .978.

Chaminade set a single season team mark for most triples (25), while Hawai`i Hilo (20) and Jessup (18) also cracked the top ten. Jessup lists second in stolen bases with 116.

That, and so much more can be found here in the updated Pacific West Conference softball record book.
