Hawaii Pacific’s Makayla Pagampoa swung a hot bat during the Sharks doubleheader split with Cal Poly Humboldt. In that second game, the sophomore infielder drove in two runs in the fourth to break a 1-1 tie, and then added insurance in the sixth with another run driven home.

Harley Acosta was 3-for-3 in the second game and dropped down the game-tying squeeze bunt in the first. Madison Rabe earned the pitching win with 1.2 finishing innings, and Madi Lee did the same in the second game with two perfect stanzas to close out the contest. The Vulcans are now 3-4 on the season.
