INDIANAPOLIS--Concordia is listed third,
Biola is sixth,
Hawaii Hilo seventh and
Jessup is
tenth in the first official NCAA West Region softball rankings announced by the national office.
Those four teams are also in next week's conference tournament in La Mirada, seeded in that order. The winner of the PacWest Conference tournament earns the conference's automatic berth into the NCAA tournament, May 14-16.

In addition to the PacWest's champion, winners of the conference tournaments for the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) and the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) will claim three of the eight spots.
