Shubin, Servin Tie For First Place To Earn Weekly Award

IRVINE, Calif. -- The PacWest Women's Golfers of the Week are Anahi Servin from Academy of Art and Claire Shubin from Dominican after the pair tied for first place in last week's golf tournament.

Servin tied for first place at the Pioneeer Shootout to earn her 10th conference weekly honor in her career setting a new PacWest record. The junior shot an even-par 144 and helped her team finish in third place. Servin shot a 1-under-par 71 in the second round to come back from two strokes behind after the first round.

Claire Shubin, Dominican

Shubin earned a share of the individual title and led the Penguins to a first-place finish at the Pioneer Shootout at Corica Park. The sophomore shot an even-par 144 with a first-round score of 1-under-par 71 to take the early lead. Dominican has now finished in the top-5 in all three events so far this year improving its finish as a team in each event.
