Keita Okada won the individual title at the NNU Nighthawk Invitational, and Academy of Art’s
Anahi Servin won a historic 15
th career Golfer of the Week award with a top-3 finish at the CSU San Marcos Fujikura Invite.
MEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Keita Okada, Hawai`i Pacific

Okada had the best score of both the first and sound rounds at the NNU Nighthawk Invitational in Livermore, Calif. to win the individual title with a score of 6-under-par 138. In a field of 88 golfers that included some of the top teams in the NCAA West Region, Okada earned an early lead by shooting a 3-under-par 69 in the first round to finish two shots ahead of everyone else in the field. He did exactly the same in the second round, growing his lead to three shots ahead of second-place Fraser Owenson from Cal State East Bay. Okada’s teammate
Keli`i Kamelamela-Dudoit took third place overall at even-par 144. Okada helped the Sharks take eighth place as a team.
WOMEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Anahi Servin, Academy of Art

Servin finished the CSU San Marcos Fujikura Invite in a tie for third place with a score of 4-over-par 148 at the two-round tournament at the Shadowridge Country Club. Servin shot a 2-over-par 74 in both rounds, and finished just five shots behind first place. Her performance helped Academy of Art finish with a team score of 41-over-par 617 for fifth place. The Golfer of the Week award is Servin’s 15
th in her decorated career with the Urban Knights. She already holds the record for most Player/Golfer/Athlete of the Week awards in the PacWest across all sports, and now is tied for the record of most weekly awards of any kind in PacWest history, equaling the record set by Selom Mawugbe from Azusa Pacific in men’s basketball.
