PacWest Tennis Match-Ups Set

Azusa Pacific is the No. 1 seed for both the men's and women's tournaments, set for this week in Surprise, Arizona.

SURPRISE, Ariz.--The final seedings and match-ups are now in ink for the 2025 Pacific West Conference Men's and Women's Tennis Championships this week at the Surprise Tennis and Racquet Club, April 16-19.

The tournament begins for the women at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, involving seeds 5-12. The winners advance to the quarterfinals on Thursday against one of the top four seeds (who have byes). Those women's matches will be played at 9 a.m. Thursday, with the semifinals (Friday) and finals (Saturday) also to be played at 9 a.m.

Women's consolation matches will begin on Thursday night at 5 p.m.

For the men, with an eight-team field, they will begin play on Thursday at 1 p.m. The action continues on Friday with the semifinals and consolation brackets, and Saturday are the championships. The men will play at 1 p.m. all three days.

Unbeaten Azusa Pacific, the defending champs, is the No. 1 seed for the men. In the women's bracket, the No. 1 seed is also the Cougars, who were unbeaten against conference teams in 2025.
