Stretch Run Shows No Change in Men's Tennis Ranking, Movement in the Middle for the Women

With one more ranking to go, Azusa Pacific tops the men's and women's PacWest lists.

The Pacific West Conference men's tennis seedings stayed the same and there was slight shifting on the women's list for the second ranking on Wednesday, April 2.

With victories this week over Biola, Westmont and Concordia, the Cougars of Azusa Pacific remained in the top spot on the men's side. The rest of the 1-12 order stayed the same as well.

For the women, Hawai`i Pacific, Biola, Colorado Mesa and MSU-Denver all moved up a position to fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth respectively. With Hawai`i Hilo's win over Academy of Art, the Vulcans and Urban Knights swapped places 10 and 11.

The 2025 Pacific West Conference Men's and Women's Tennis Championships will be held April 16-19 in Surprise, Arizona. Eight teams will qualify on the men's side to compete and 12 will advance from the women's seeding list to the tournament at the Surprise Tennis and Racquet Club.

The PacWest seeding committee of eight administrators from PacWest schools (two from each geographical pod) list all 12 men's teams and all 17 women's programs. This is the second listing, leading up to the final selection of the tournament fields on April 7. After the field is selected, there will be a final seeding determination on April 12 before the tournament begins on the 16th.

The top two criteria (from a list of seven) for the selection committee is head-to-head results, followed by records against common D-II (PacWest) opponents.

All records listed are through Tuesday, April 1.
