SAN DIEGO--Vanguard will make its first ever Pacific West Conference Championship tournament appearance as the No. 1 seed, March 5-7 at Golden Gymnasium in San Diego.

That means the Lions will get a first round (Thursday) bye, as does No. 2 seed and host Point Loma.

Here's the rundown...
*Thursday, 5 pm: #6 Concordia (14-13) vs. #3 Azusa Pacific (17-5)
*Thursday, 7:15 pm: #5 Dominican (21-7) vs. #4 Westmont (20-8)
*Friday, 5 pm: Concordia/Azusa Pacific winner vs. #2 Point Loma (21-7)
Friday, 7:15 pm: Dominican/Westmont winner vs. #1 Vanguard (22-5)

The winner of the two semifinals square off in the PacWest Championship on Saturday at 4:15 pm. The champion gains the PacWest's automatic berth into the NCAA West Region Championships, which will begin the following week.
