Lions, Sea Lions and Cougars Still Dance Eligible

In today's NCAA West Region women's basketball ranking, Vanguard is fourth, Point Loma sixth and Azusa Pacific is No. 9.

INDIANAPOLIS--All three PacWest teams that were listed in last week's NCAA West Region rankings held serve this week., 

Vanguard, Point Loma 
and Azusa Pacific are in the same spots this week as last, with the Lions at No. 4, Sea Lions at No. 6 and Cougars at No. 9. In fact, the entire 10-team ranking remains exactly the same this week as last week.

The Pacific West Conference Championships begin tomorrow (March 5-7), with the NCAA tournament starting the week following. The winner of the PacWest tournament receives an automatic berth into the NCAA tournament, as does the winner from the California Collegiate Athletic Association and the Great Northwest Athletic Conference, but this list will determine the other five spots. 

The next NCAA ranking will come out on Sunday night after the conference tournaments are completed, revealing the entire field.
