IRVINE, Calif. – Brady Turnquist from Biola and Keita Okada from Hawai`i Pacific both repeated as PacWest Golfers of the Week after strong performances at the Dennis Rose Invitational.
 
WOMEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Brady Turnquist, Biola

Turnquist became the first golfer in PacWest history to win four Golfer of the Week awards in her first four events as she won the Dennis Rose Invitational. She shot a 2-under-par 214 through three rounds to win the event by two strokes. She had an even-par 72 in the first and third rounds, while posting her best round of the tournament in the second at 2-under-par 70. She helped Biola take second place as a team out of 12.
 
MEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Keita Okada, Hawai`i Pacific
So. – Tokyo, Japan
Okada won his second Golfer of the Week award this season after tying for third place at the Dennis Rose Invitational. He opened with a 2-over-par 72 and then followed that up with the best round of the tournament at 4-under-par 66 in the second round. He finished the tournament with a 1-under-par 69 in the third round for an overall score of 3-under-par 207. As a team, Hawai`i Pacific took fifth out of 12 teams. HIs performance tied his own school record for a three-round score and his second round score was one stroke away from the program record for a single round.
